Welcome to TEAMEnvironment Kenya
Our team arrived at Highridge Primary School with a mission to plant the seeds of a greener future. We started by introducing the students to the importance of environmental conservation and the role of trees in maintaining a healthy ecosystem. Through interactive activities, we engaged the students in discussions about the benefits of trees, such as reducing air pollution, conserving water, and providing habitat for wildlife.
After the environmental education session, it was time to get our hands dirty. We distributed 200 fruit seedlings, including passion, luckwards, tamarind, and purple fruit to the students. Each student was responsible for planting and taking care of one seedling, under our #AdoptATreePerChild Initiative. This program aims to instill a sense of responsibility and ownership in the students, encouraging them to take an active role in environmental conservation.

Target achievements on the Goal of Greener future
Our visit to Highridge Primary School was a success. We not only planted 200 fruit trees but also educated the students on the importance of environmental conservation. By empowering the students to take care of their seedlings, we are confident that we have planted the seeds of a greener and more sustainable future.
At TEAMEnvironment Kenya, we will continue to work towards our mission of fostering climate change adaptation and mitigation by catalyzing community-level interventions that enhances well-being, livelihood security, environmental conservation and sustainable asset-based community development.
