TeamEnvironment Kenya is excited to announce an upcoming event for all individuals born in the month of January. As part of our ongoing efforts to promote environmental sustainability and conservation, we are inviting everyone to come and plant a tree for their birthday. Our campaign is called “Leave No One Behind” and our hashtag is #Trees4Birthday.
The event will take place on 28th Jan 2022, at Ngong Hills, Kona Baridi Area from 9am to 1pm. During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to plant a tree that corresponds to their age. For example, if you are 25 years old, you will plant 25 trees. This is a unique and meaningful way to celebrate your birthday while also making a positive impact on the environment.
Trees play a vital role in maintaining a healthy planet by absorbing carbon dioxide, producing oxygen, and providing habitat for wildlife. They also help to prevent soil erosion and improve air quality.
