Membership and Constitution

TEAMEnvironment KENYA’

A membership and partnership strategy has been developed that takes into consideration the various classes of stakeholders including volunteers, individual community members, CBOs, students and their societies/clubs, different types of learning/training institutions, corporate entities, civil societies, county and national government agencies, international organizations, media and other stakeholders.

TEK’s main roles to members are:-

  • Establishing contacts with stakeholders and programme development activities;
  • Designing of projects and activities in collaboration with development partners, and other project initiating stakeholders including government to facilitate member participation through mobilization towards success in implementation.
  • Offering of Support Services in the design and handling of action plans, proposals and other documentation.
  • Facilitation in the establishment and implementation of operations through a suitable cooperative movement.
  • Facilitation in the acquisition of property, land and other capital resources for the organization’s strategic investments such as eco-camps.
  • Instituting a member information (ICT) and material resource centers.
  • Facilitating member training in liaison with relevant stakeholders and extension services providers.
  • Conducting and tabling of monitoring and evaluation reports on behalf of the Board and TEK members.
