TEAMEnvironment KENYA’

TEAMEnvironment KENYA will engage in environmental conservation activities in all counties across the country and in the region. The events will be undertaken in rural, urban, peri-urban areas, including residential and commercial environments. Other environmental activities and expeditions include:-

  1. CLIMATE CHANGE
  • Tree Planting (Growing), Afforestation and Re-afforestation Programmes.
  • Green, Renewable and sustainable energy innovations and technologies.
  • Resources Efficiency (Water, Energy, Process, Material use, Rainwater harvesting systems)
  1. LANDSCAPE RESTORATION
  • Indigenous & exotic trees, shrubs and grasses nursery establishment
  • Bamboo and Fruit tree nursery establishment
  • Re-vegetation task force: Land preparation, pitting, growing and nurturing contracts.
  • Construction of gabions and terraces.
  1. WASTE MANAGEMENT
  • ORGANIC MUNICIPAL MARKET WASTE
  • ELECTRONIC AND ELECTRIC WASTE
  • PLASTIC WASTE collection and recycling
  • Industrial and AGRICULTURAL CHEMICALS WASTE
  1. CAPACITY BUILDINGEnvironmental Education, Awareness creation, Policies, Laws, Regulations, Guidelines, Standards and Institutional structures.
